depends upon your age, location, experiences, points etc and the spec of your car, its value and what agreed value you have on your car.

i was paying 300quid fully comp with a dr10 on a series 2, only thing to watch though is your not gonna get ncb each year

Ł126 for me and other half on MK4 Escort Cabby (normal Ghia model) valued @ Ł3,500 by insurance company. We are 29 and it is garaged on a 3k mileage limit.

As said, it depends on where you live and storage / security situations.

If you do not want a Classic policy, you can go to someone like HIC who will do an agreed value policy with a mileage limit of up to 7,500 miles per annum. My Saff (non Cossie) is valued @ Ł2,500 and my 2000e is the same, both come in around Ł250 per annum. And with a normal agreed value policy (not classic) you can still earn no-claims bonus

just re insure my s2 with hic (about hour ago lol) on a modified ploicy,was classic last year, 5 years ncb im 23 agreed value at 3k and it was 400 quid

classic is normaly for insuring a car cheaply with no NCB and limited millage
