Default rain gutters

i'm toying with the ideal of cutting the rain gutters off the roof and smoothing them down. I reckon it would look ok and i won't need them as the car is going to used in the dry only.

I know its a lot of work and most will probably say its stupid and not worth it but theoretically can i just cut them off with a grinder and smooth away ie. i'm not going to be left with a gaping hole into the car?

My thoughts exactly. Dont do it! Why ruin a perfectly gorgeous car?

Get an Xr3i cheap and do it! So the RS's shell stays in its original form.

I have a feeling if you cut them off you might have to weld them up as i guessing its a seam which will then come apart when removed. might be wrong

that's what's put me off doing it. I'm doing it if it's easy enough and it'll be a wee bit different but if its a major hassle then i'll leave well alone
