99.9% of the time car runs nd boosts great, really pulls, but ocassionally if Im putting my footdown a bit, Ill go up to 3rd gear, it will start to boost, and then just stops, doesnt drop boost, just wont go any higher. but I can de - accellerate, then go up through gears again and its fine

weak actuator spring, might be opening the waste gate to soon.

are you using an amal valve?

 

no m8, its been bypassed by a previous owner and bleed valve fitted

 

Stick the amal valve back on, if to do nothing else than allow the ECU to protect your engine...

 

im going o m8, ive just ordered a collins -31 actuator, once thats on i'll bin the bleed valve
