My ears were burning lol...
Gearbox wise you will need to go MTX to handle that power. You have stated what box your intending to go for and its what I have gone for.
Before you chose anything though you need to decide what the car is used for.
If its a track/racer a road/track car or just a road car.
Bearing in mind to handle the power well you will need to sacrifice some of the refinements you currently may have.

Are you sure you want 400bhp? It's very easy to come on the internet and get recommendations for "yeah mate you want 400!!!" but in reality, a genuine 400bhp is unuseable on a road car.

Surely you should be giving Ian Howell at Area Six a call?
The man has forgotten more about big power zetecs than most will ever know! Very trustworthy and no messing type of guy!
I have used him for over 10 years.

Totally depends on how its mapped and delivered! ECU boost control is the way forward. Yep from standstill its useless but map it in progressively and I dont see the problem. As long as you have big arms for the torque steer.
