i use redstuff ont he capper, quite hefty on the wallet as brake pads go, but never had a problem with them, although they seem to eat into the brake disks a lot more than other pads.
been on a couple of trackdays with it, standard brakes (aka bottle tops) non vented disks.
boiled the paint on the rear drums but never had fade from the redstuff pads. =)

Put some standard pads in it if its just for road use. Your brakes will feel worse the higher up you go in terms of fast-road/race pads if you don't get them hot, which you probably wont on the road.

What ever you do, don't use Greenstuff. Properly rubbish, worse than standard pads.

I have to say i have used Greenstuff, it was only on standard discs on my van but they worked so well. I tested them quite hard and it cut my stopping distance by 15 yds or more!!! They lasted me for months and months

As stated above, forget EBC.

Best mod I did to my last brake set up was binning the EBC and using Ferodos! Night and day!

I tend to stick with Pagid, Ferodo or Mintex. I've 1144's on the RS atm which are by Mintex, they've been spot on. My spare pads are Ferodo DS2500's which I've used along with DS3000's on the EVO - again both very good pads 3000's may be a little overboard on the RS though they DO bite hard and will ware disks faster.

on my 4 pots i had red stuff to start with and they were wank, many times i thought i wasnt going to stop. im now using ferrodo ds2500 and the differance is amazing, much more bite from cold and perform great when hot.
