Hey all a mate of mine said my timings out an that he set the crankshaft and said that the rotor arm is on cylinder 4 he said the timing belt needed taking off and moving two notches so its on no1.I dont no what im doing really but went to av a look earlier.
I turned the camshaft till the small pip on the crank pulley was facing upwards.
There is no markings on the camshaft pully so i took the distributor cap of and the rotor arm was on cylinder 1.Can someone tell me how to set the timing plz.
Also i got a three way bleed valve i wanna fit i no its 1 to turbo 1 to bleed air and 1 to atuator what do i do about the boost control solaniod as im taking boost and atcuator of it.cheers chaps

leave the electronic connector to the amal valve connected but disconnect the boost pipes, put the boost valve in its place.

What about the third pipe on the solaniod seems to go to the metering unit
