would not touch it myself.

First of all he does not state what turbo it actually is other than saying stage 2, he says its good for 190+bhp but then again the standard turbo is good for this kind of power.

If its a new turbo which retailed at £400 when he purchased it, then he's had it a long time as brand new roller bearing turbos are more expensive than that, if the item was a rebuild he does not state so or how long the rebuild was.
It is stated that it was built by airesearch however does this simply mean its a Garrett Air Research turbo or that a specialist company by that name rebuilt it to stage two.
He states it has a uprated actuator without stating what its uprated to.

No technical information presented at all, it does not clarify if its ever been on a car, it sounds like a ebay special to me

Early 80s Garrett Airesearch turbo's (that is, Garrett) had hte Aireserch written on them. This means that it's a very old turbo that is later turned to ball bearing core. The hole turbo looks very T03 to me.

Or more likely IMO is that its not Ball-bearing atall. Probably just 360° thrust bearing and that guy is getting a little confused.

ts actually mine thats for sale , its was 400 odds when i bought it as the guy that was building my engine builds alot of rally cars and deals with the comapny that made it alot, maybe he got a good deal on the price. this is not a ebay specail, i dont no much about turbos and dont have much contact with they guy thsat was building the engine. all i no it is what it states in the description, and it is two years old, and never been on a car, i only took it out of it packaging a week ago

I still say that it has a 360° Thrust bearing, not roller bearing. Two very different things. Maybe I am wrong, but even with contacts, a Roller Bearing Turbo for that kind of money is far-fetched.

T3 Roller bearing conversions are a recent thing and I can't think of a reason why anyone would have done it without real motivation. Just seems odd to me.

By the way, if its yours, you shouldn't be advertising it in here anyway. Pay your Gold Membership fee and get it advertised in the for sale section.
