car wont start wen hot!

Default car wont start wen hot!
me mates got an escort rs turbo that starts first time wen cold, but wen its warm it wont start for about 8 seconds!! does any one know the reason for this?? cheers!!!

try fitting somesort of heatshield around the starter
when the exhaust gets hot the starter motor swells
so gets stuck and wont turn till it cools down

Solidnoid in starter motas play up when hot, make sure the power cables arent rusted or split.

as above when hot mone dont want to know either heat shield between turbo and starter should sort it out
