timing belt may have slipped.

was it running ok before you changed these parts or did you change these parts in an attempt to cure the problem ?

check the position of the dizzy with the head, try rotating it to retard/advance bout a mm at a time, but dont go thrashing it, you will know if it makes a difference from driving safely

overboosting, lack of fuel...more fuel when its cold from cold start valve so runs 'better'

get it set up by a pro !!!!

Yes, but I wouldnt personally adjust it unless I knew what I was doing at the risk of my engine

it is popping because it is running very lean. Probably too much boost for the fuel pressure - it needs looking at by a pro.

4psi??? Sounds like the Amal valve is dead, that will cut your boost right down to about 4psi i believe.

I had this years ago on my S1 when the Ford dealer overfilled with oil - Fine when cold but sick when warmed. Took another branch of dealership about a week to clean out and replace parts to remove excesses. It's OK though they are no longer a Ford dealer!

needs to fix the problem really before it can be set up as cars not really drivable, as soon as you put the engine under load(as in pulling off slowly) it starts to miss and sounds like antilag poping and banging!
