fitting a fifth injector, is it worth it?
I have a MF2 box, and bits an pieces and a cossie yellow injector, which I am told is pretty much all i need really to fit in to the RST lump in my RS1600i, is it worth fitting a fifth injector? i thought its an ideal way to get a bit more power, i have currently have a standard t3 on it, with a stage 2 chip and pace chargecooler, so i thought maybe add the fifth injector and get it mapped then wack the boost up? is this a good idea?

it's worth if you're getting not enough fuel. Till that point there is no use of fitting one. So first you can let you car be mapped and see what's going to be limiting you in getting more power out of the engine.

oh i see, cheers for that, so its a case of geting the power increased with mods etc, and then fit this kits when the fuel levels are maxed, thats cool then i will wack it on the shelf for a while

To increase on-boost fuelling on an MFi car, you screw the off-boost fuelling, so by fitting and mapping the 5th Injector, you can enjoy sensible off-boost fuelling and the 5th injector can take car of on-boost enrichment. Crude, but thats tuned MFi for you.
That's my view on it anyway.

cheers mate, my main prioty is just to have a nippy car to spank round track etc, not bothered about mega power, just a laugh, if fitting the 5th injector lets me up the boost then wicked
