annoying misfire occassionly!
hi there people im wondering if you can help me, ive got an 90 spec rst running 1600 cvh low comp ported and cammed on mfi, ive put an early type ecu (red blue red) and new distributor on along with different cap, rotor, leads and coil but occasionly still have a misfire on boost running 16-17psi, plugs are ngk bcr8es, between 4500rpm to 5000rpm im at me wits end any ideas?????

ive done the gaps to .7 and also tried .6 ive today now tried a group a coil and 071 plugs but still there it only seems to be on first few boost ups and if i cruise for a while and then go for it it can happen occassionly??? how much are them suppresors grsford cause i think thats about the only thing left lol!!!!????

your trying all the elecy side but how do you know fuel pump, injectors and fuel ratio are all set up correctly would be cheaper to go get a proper set up done

im gona see if any of my mates have got one and try it and if it doesnt cure it then it may have to be the gerry can and a match method cheers grsford....

its been on torque of the devils rollers 3 weeks ago and the fuelling was apparently fine chris todd told me about the ecu and distributor which i changed he also said maybe could be valve springs and i could do with double valve springs???? another mate said tappetts if one is knacked then it could cause this im very confused????
