Diamond cut effect alloy wheels; can you DIY it?
Does anyone know if you can produce a DIY diamond cut style effect on std s2 alloys, I was thinking maybe by sanding / polishing with a dremel type tool?
Has anyone done this?
Has anyone done this?

You can do it i did start to do my 7 spokes but it was taking ages!!!! you need to do it in stages with different grades of sanding, polish etc.. so i gave up and just payed and had it done you will never get them as good as a pro will as they have all the "PROPER TOOLS" to do the job not
I payed Ł45 per wheel and they done a spot on job

Ah well i didn't know if anyone had tried it that's all, don't think I'll bother with that then.
Got new style rs4 on my golf with a diamond cut/milled effect face, and a marginally darker inner, they look well nice.
See how the rs gets on over the next few weeks see where i get to with it, and maybe get some more wheels for it off ebay or summat
