Default fitting newman cam ?

Do you need to put 2 spacers on under the rocker on the rocker posts like it says in performance ford mag ?

Any tips on fitting the solid lifter cam ?

Sounds obvious but did you put the lifter clamp in a vice??? You won't be able to do them up tight enough holding it in your hand...i used 2 spanners, one holding the bolt to stop it moving when tightening the nut, the other to do the nut up.....as said above do it up as tight as you can. I've got the old lifetrs and had to use 2 spacers, didn'r realise they'd rectified that issue now

Thinking of getting a newman cam for my XR2Turbo, what sort of rev 's can the solid lifters run as my limiter is at 6500rpm at the moment and it drives me nuts

Beyond 6500rpm is the reason why you change to solid as the hydraulic lifters pump themselves open beyond there as they can't drain off fast enough.
