Live mapping will not help an RST owner mate!! Plus Karl is in the midlands, not the North West.

Karl and MSD are both very good. If you decide to use either, you will get a good service. If you don't fancy traveling to Coventry to see Karl then Blackpool to see Stu and Kenny at MSD is your best option.

My Series 1 was set up by MSD.

Hi mate. The ESC2 ECU and the Bosch fuel ECU as used on the S1 and S2 are not mappable. In other words, you cannot plug an emulator and laptop into the system and alter settings. Not only that, the fuel system is mechanical and has very little electronic control over fueling. The fueling has to be set up manually. The only thing you can do with the ignition ECU is change boost limits and ignition curves but that has to be done on the bench with the ECU and chip out of the car. You can do little more than set up the KE Jetronic.

Matt,

The Cossie is a fully mappable system. The only way Karl can map your S1 would be if it had not got standard management on it or EEC4 (Karl won't touch EEC cos he doesn't like it and sends all people who enquire about EEC to Stu at MSD). Sorry if it seemed like I was having a go. It wasn't intended like that.
