Default Series 1 and series 2 Turbos, are they different?

are the turbos different? as i need an exhaust elbow. but im not sure which 1 i have?

Turbos are different but the elbows are the same...

Series 1 Turbos are old and shitty.

Series 2 Turbos are newer and make you go faster

hmmmm, well i have a t3 turbo, no water cooling, so just oil cooled, and it doesnt have a normal exhaust elbow, it comes in 2 parts, 1 part boltys to the other. and i need the 3 bolt elbow.
