Converted my erst to run omex management back in july and never managed to get the rev counter to work now it's running a coilpack. Have taken the car off the road to do some more bits and thought it was about time i got it workin! Anyone at all know how to get workin????? Phoned omex but didn't manage to get any sense out of em, there's a live feed to the rev counter, and i simply connected the tacho wire from the ecu loom to the existing rev counter wire but it don't bloody work...which as u can imagine is pretty annoyin lol Cheers in advance

Omex 600.....efi yeah!

 

run a wire from the rev counter to the coil pack its a 3 wire plug put the wire on any of the outer 2 wires and it will work

yea 5min job, and i drove mine for 18 month without mine working

 

Simple setting in the ECU. I have a car running around with the 600 ECU on it and the rev counter works fine on a coil pack. It's an RS1600i though so early clocks.

I'll have a look at the settings tomorrow if you want?

 

Daz C: Yeah that would be good mate, i did run the wire from the ecu to the rev counter and got the guy who mapped the car to mess around with the settings in the ecu to try n make it work but to no avail!! He may well have missed somethin tho lol Did you run a wire from the coil pack also??
