heated front screen

is there any way to test the screen to make sure you've got power to the terminals on each side as i tried to use it other day and heard relay clicking but it didn't seem to be doing ought were as back one was unmisting

To test the terminals, run a multimeter or test light from each spade connection (disconnecting from the screen 1st) to earth.
If they are fine, I would remove the interior light / roof clock assy. and check the connection ehere it bolts to the bodywork (single self-tapper). It is quite common for the connection to break where it actually meets the screen. This means a new screen. If there is no power to the supply wires, I would check the supply to the relay.

thanks for the help i'll test it when i get in tommorrow and it's a new screen but suspect it could be the one behind the clock so i'll check it's earthing. take it you put multimeter on 12volts and should get somewhere round that when you switch it on
