flat out

the car keeps cutting out when im slowing down iv turned the idle so it running over 1000 and it's still doing it. it doesn't just cut out the revs drop down to far under tick over. it a pain in the ass coz my starter is fcuked and wont turn over when warm
any suggestions let me know

Air leak maybe check all you boost hoses

air leak on the break vacuum line , or your break booster diaphragm has a tear in it ?

my old s1 was the same and it was the brake servo mate.
