Default Engine mounts?

What are the best engine and gearbox mounts to get? only seem to be able to find gearbox ones at the mo, what is everyone running on theres?

i have vibratechnics on mine


no problems there


dont think anyone does a uprated engine mount, its just gearbox i think

As above, i also have Vibratechnics gearbox mounts.

These two mounts take most of the load, the other mount is just a support mount and im not aware of an uprated one. If yours is a bit tired then a new one from Ford will be fine.

I used Deflex mounts on my cab because i couldnt afford Vibratechnics ones at the time so i went for the cheaper option only i wish i hadnt as a bolt snapped after a couple of months. I was sent new stronger bolts from Deflex free of charge and have had no problems since but still wish i had bought the Vibratechnics mounts as they sound like they are far better quality.

i've broke vibra techinic's one's on my xr2tt,


now run my own spec items with out issue at all.

No vibrations like Vibra's, with less movent.

i run zoo motorsport custom group a spec mounts there is no give and loads of vibrations

they have got rubber inners but not much custom gearbox cradle

im on solid vibratechnics, not yet run on them yet but expect to lose a few fillings

if too harsh i will go back to the road vibra's


if they no good i will give you a shout dan (s1 gearbox i thank you )
