For those of you who say the amount of owners doesn't concern you.........would you go out and pay top money for a car thats had nearly as many owners as the years its been around?
I know i wouldn't.........a car thats had say only a couple of owners from new you KNOW has been cherished and clearly has been a very reliable vehicle to those people! And is worth paying good money for 99% of the time!
pugo, obviously as you say you paid peanuts for it and it doesn't bother you so fairplay! I can imagine the look on your face when you saw 17 previous owners though

My S2 is 18 years old, has 57,000 miles on it and I am the third owner. It does have 4 on the logbook I think, it was in my ex-girlfriends name before I took it over.
Owner #1 had it for a few months, then #2 had it from then until we bought it.
I would certainly be concerned about a car with tons of owners.

yes but yours has had numerous engines, boxes, bits etc.....and has been seen being revved to within an inch of its life doing nearly 170mph
and you think 4 owners and 57,000 miles will make it easier to sell
