Default Battery light

Just done a turbo conversion and all starts up fine straight away but battery light is on and when its revved it gets brighter, alternator is fine and car will run fine, am i right in thinking it may be a lose/ disconnected earth somewhere, any input much appreciated, thanks

alternator is fine, will double check wires are all ok tomorrow, thanks, so could it be a dodgy earth or not?

i had a similair problem with my escort turbo and it was the starter motor wire had come loose and was barely touching
