anybody got any idea what sort of bhp figure i should have with these fitted to my series 1

195 chip
-31 actuator
low comp bottom end
k+n panel
4" mongoose
grs full size cooler
at 18 psi of boost

just thought id ask

Hi mate, if running correctly it should be putting about 200bhp at flywheel with that spec give of take 10-15bhp ish.

You're from Blackpool I see. You wasn't being followed by another S1 a week or 2 ago down the prom was you? (is your reg no C***JHJ or CHC or something like that).

no that would have been my two mates probably 1 is cxxx jhd + the other is bxxx jrd mine is Cxxx EEC its been off the road since end of last month just to sort a few things out have u still got yours ? where abouts you from anyway?

I am from Preston.

I drove through Blackpool one Friday or Saturday night a week or 2 ago when I was bored and followed this S1 all the way down the prom. They had a good look at mine as I pulled along side and they turned off into the town centre.

Mine has only just come back on the road after a 3 year restoration!!

ive seen it on your website it looks mint they were probably trying to get you to follow them to somewhere quiet for a race as usual. whats your reg i might have seen it around

Its B***WHM. It has done a few laps of Blackpool recently while I was running it in.

I won't race anyone simply down to the fact the car is only running 0.4bar (6psi) of boost and it's a brand spanking new engine. Plus the fact that I need to get all the suspension set up as it drives like a sack of shit when going round bends. I give it boost here and there though.

I think I might have been on Halfords about 3 years ago before it came off the road but I doubt you will remember that far back.

I just set it up today with Stu @ MSD. It's now chipped running 14psi held. Pulls pretty well now for what boost it runs on a standard turbo

mines running 18psi boost,low comp, pace inter cooler, 285 t2 vernier, kn, etc, rooling roaded at 165 with 178 rorque thats at nobles.

with a half size pace should be a bit better than that but i forgot yours does 158mph as seen in another post
