Default Torque of the devil

Do they measure at wheels or fly

Just say this car on another board that had been there and got

188.6 BHP @ 18psi! and 205 pound of torque

He was told he would need a 5th injector to get over 200bhp

His spec

spec is all low comp pistons, kent cam, stage 3 turbo, stage three head, cossie fule pump, organic clutch, B&M short shift, ram air filter, breathers, swirl pots, loads to be honest!

I would have thought it would have made more power

thats the trouble with low compression pistons, unless your going to run huge amounts of boost theres not much point in having them, if you were to fit low comp pistons and run standard boost you would probably loose a small amount of power rather than gain any. you say the car was running 18 psi, well my rs has a chip, -31 actuator, mongoose system, grs intercooler, standard compression forged pistons and modified metering head but im on standard cam and turbo and it made just over 190 bhp at 18psi (peak). if he had standard compression pistons i reckon it would of been over 200bhp with his mods and boost level.
also as far as im aware that is at the wheels mate.

fogot to say my car was on P.E's rollers so is probably only 170-185bhp looks good on paper though lol. those dyno dynamics rollers are pretty much the best ones for accuracy.

the figures given to that customer were ESTIMATED flywheel figures, the power at the wheels for that car was 156.9, 18 psi boost and ignition timing optimised.

surely with all those mod's he should of made more bhp than that.
mind you, like i said before, those dyno dynamics rollers are very accurate. can anyone tell me where TORQUE OF THE DEVIL is as i would like to let them have a play with my rs as ive heard alot of good stuff about them.
