Default best zvh compression ratio

i want to build a new 2.1 zvh turbo with new pistons if i use vauxhall calibra turbo pistons, what will the ratio be, will i need to get them machined down or leave them as they are,and what is the best cam to use piper 285t3 any good,

so is 7:5:1 lower compression than 8:2:1 as a lot of people say different, ratios. when it comes to turbo engines,

yes 7:5:1 is lower ,it will be around that if you use caliba pistons

In my zvh conversion didnt fancy spending £500 on pistons and having to have the block bored so i brought a 1.5mm spacer plate to lower the compression using standard pistons and running just under a bar of boost and it goes like stink and its been like that for near on 15k with no problems.

Mine does 8:1 @ 18 psi.
