amel valve (sp)
i have been told you can half you boost by adding a switch to the amel valve. is this true? if it is which wire would you break to put the switch in. also what do you do about haqving it set up, on or off ect.

the reason why i am asking this is because i want to run a high boost about 20 psi. i dont want to run this pressure all the time and i dont want to mess with a bleed valve.

This is true. There's a constant live on the valve and a (ECU)switched earth.
When the ECU detects parameters to be hazardous to your engine it breaks the earth to your Amal valve thus lowering the boost.
When you line up a switch in the earth you can manually switch off the Amal valve like the ECU does in "safe mode".
Obviously you have to set the car up on high boost.
