Can anyone tell me how wide escort cosworth alloys are??? I want some for my cab and have seen some sets advertised but 1 set say 7.5 J wide and all the others say 8 J. So is there 2 different widths or is it a mistake and which ones will fit best???

5-Spoke and the second design both were 8x16 on EsCos.

7x15 on all Sierras iirc

I don't know what prices you have to pay in the UK for second-hand rims... In Germany new ones aren't really more expensive and they're still available @ Ford.

You'll also need to convert to wheel studs to make the bigger nuts fit. Or you can get your hands onto special screws. Your MK4 RSTurbo ones are too small.
