that knows about the RS Turbo engine and lives local to Sutton surrey.
Just to let you know whats happened. The other week was driving back from Gatwick and my Turbo split in half as when it was rebuilt the studs werent torqued up properly. Just before the Turbo had dropped the car developed a slight miss fire so i pulled over and waited for the RAC. Anyway got it all back together Wed night and started it up. A fair bit of smoke/steam was coming from the exhaust bend on the turbo as i put new exhaust wrap on it. Does this normally happen when first heating exhaust wrap?
Secondly the miss fire was still there and i tried cleaning all the plugs and checking the leads but it didnt change. Its running EFi and im not completely in tune with how everything works with this set up. Im trying to sell the car and have someone who has made a good offer so would like to get it up and running asap so i dont lose the buyer. I've not had a chance to look at the problem in depth yet so could be something really simple but dont have the time at the mo to look.
Can anyone please help? obviously ill pay for anyone that can pop over and solve the problem.
Cheers Guys
