i caned it a bit and the tempreature was showing 107 degrees, im sure i read somewhere that it shouldnt go above 110

Best oil temp is 90 - 110 oC.
if mine went above 110C on the track i would back off, as the oil pressure drops.
What gauge have you got? and where is the sensor fitted?
If the gauge is accurate, i'm surprised you managed to get the temps that hot on the road.
On my xr2tt i have to really blizt's it for 10mins consistantly on the road to get 110oC before i fitted my oil cooler,
But on the track it would go to 115oC in about 5 hard laps, then carry on past 120oC untill i backed off.
but since i fitted the oil cooler, it dont go above 110oC after 20 mins hard session.
