Default uneven ride height

i have a series 2 and the front drivers corner is sitting atleast 10 mm lower than the other side. i've tried 2 different sets of springs and shocks but to no avail. i've also noticed that the same wheel is sitting a little more back (towards the rear of the car) in the wheel arch too, wondered if any one has any ideas as i'm puzzled to f**k

you may have chassis damage mate, best thing to do is to get it checked on a jig

OR

check that the anti roll bar is not damaged/bent in anywhere

Sounds about right.
Previous owner may have whacked a kerb with that wheel pushing it back slightly. Does it drive ok/ straight ? Wheels aligned no problem?
If it's only 10mm lower and everything else is ok then I wouldn't worry.

The roll bar on my cabby was bent and the wheel sat too far forward, too far back means its blatantly been over a kerb hard.

As for the ride height, something ive always noticed about escorts/orions is they do tend to sit on the piss, always look lop sided.
