is it possible to acheive a genuine power figure in excess of 240 bhp at the wheels using a fifth injector? only asking as i'm considering useing one until i have the money to upgrade to a proper management system. also where can i purchase a fifth injetor setup and get it properly set up?

Yes, it can make sure you go for the MF2...

Christian at APT could do it for sure.

MFi does NOT restrict power output its just a difficult system to setup to fuel properly at high boost EFi is just alot easier more refined setup

ive got a fifth injector an decided not to use it as im changing managment its a motorsport developments one ready to fit if yout intrested

very possible, the ERL Mf2 fith injector system is amazing. Chris Todd maps these to perfection and has alot of experience with them.

RICK is the mf2 setup something that can be fitted by the diy mechanic before having it set up? also any ideas where i can get one?

Yes it can be. Wiring is quite simple. You will need a a cossie map sensor (3bar) and an injector (cossie green or grey for example)

You then need a boss to allow mounting of the injector to the crossover - such as an 8v astra gte item..

i think you will pay about 350 for the kit but then add cost for:

installing injector into your standard crossover pipe
injector
wiring unit in
mapping
