Default head back on, problems persist...

I finally got the head back on and got it all built back up (thanks to safechav for the collets n rings).

However it wouldnt start
I took a fuel line off, and cawed it over - no fuel coming out the injectors. I sprayed a little fuel in the throttle, and it fired up, so theres obviously a problem with the fuel pump.

I was just wondering, the fuel pump worked fine before I took the head off. Surely theres no plugs, sensors etc under the bonnet that would stop fuel coming through?

The only ignition lights I get are oil and parking - is this normal? (battery was flat right enough)

Thanks
Jamie

hi mate

nah no prime atall, got a mate to lie at the back of the car underneath when I put the ignition on, no buzz atall. When we spray the throttle it starts until the fuel we sprayed in is burnt away. Ive checked the fuse, but it was OK

Personally i'd use a bridge wire in the fuel pump relay socket, bridge from the Red wire, to the Black/Red, and crank it over see what happens then.

Glad you got them ok, i did wonder
