Is the rear one the same? Front ones dont get spotted as easy for obvious reasons.

I got done 2 years ago for mine saw the traffic car drive past then do a quick turn after me, i shot into the petrol station and put some fuel in.

As soon as i drove out one of them jumped in front of the car with his hand out

Guys were ok but still got a Ł30 fine

Thinking about it, first time it will be a fine and they will more likely inform you if the car is seen being driven again with defective plates they will report you to DVLA who subsequently will withdraw the cars registration and then you have to re-apply and the car is given a Q prefix registration, and they will tell you the fees etc for all this will be about Ł2k

Happened to my mate but he just got a court summons thourgh and a Ł150 fine i believe.

You'll get 3 points for a 'chase plate' on a bike now And thats anything smaller then that standard barn door size

thats terrible on q plate stopped pretty much all insurers insurin him all for small plate

My plate is 3" smaller in length and 1" smaller in height, your correct, its not that much smaller but the coonts still done me for it

thing is any plate that is not legal carries the same penalties so why not get a really small one

going to carry the standard one with me and display it in the windscreen maybe?
