tappets
how long do tappets stay silent for on a 1600cvh with 240bhp as i have a rattle and i reckon its them there worse on cold start and once been running for a bit there a bit better
they were changed in 2005 last

prob not what i wanted to hear
so do u reckon it would be wise to change these
its either that or its the camshaft thats playing up

I wouldn't change the tappets with out the cam.
chances are that if its 'that' noisey, its worn the cam.
