on my S1?



Its off a Volvo 850 T5, its a bosch item..I was thinking if I took the wires/plug off and connected the 2 wires on my coil it'd work no prob,maybe as good as a "group A" bosch coil?

pointless or worth it? got it for free anyway so makes no odds if it works or not just curious if it be better than std or if im better with a grp A item.

if,ve often wondered if the fiat ones would work as well as they,re very similiar and look like group a coils also. i'll keep an eye on this post

If you want a better coil go wasted spark anything else is not worth the effort.

Wardy257, Ive heard the Grp A coils are allot better and give off a much better spark than std?

it wil start, idle, rev up much better as its giving a much stronger sprak

i used one off a toyota supra lol its a huge fucker but works brilliant thow

Do I do away with the multi plug an jus connect the 2 wires on my coil to where the 2 wires go on that?

yes add the same connectors as in the pics and for the wireing the BLACK(+) wire on the car will connect were the RED wire is and the GREEN(-) pulse wire on the car will connect were the BLUE wire which is on the coil in the picture above

Good man thanks for that, Little weary of cutting the original connectors off jus incase it dont work

cut the wire about 6cms from the end of the connector so u got enuff to solder back

and no worries mate any time
