Reading back over your topic that doesn't help him either.

se mk3 cabbie, personally i wouldnt entertain fitting one of those nasty S2 relays in your car, the S1 relays are incredibly reliable its just common for the single connection to get knocked and the solder joint breaks internally, easily fixed in seconds and they are so much more reliable.

I would strongly advise you not to change it

If Ive hurt your feelings that much i'll send you the fiver

I was going to and may still attempt it, I didnt think about having to check all the wires before I plugged it in and started it, but when I relised i'd have too I thought it better to give it to a pro, I was only asking how to do it to see if I could attempt it myself, but seeing as wiring isnt one of my strong points I would rather let someone who knows what their doing do it! It's a bit off that your taking the hump cos Ive decided its beyond my ability, would you rather I attempted it and made things worse JUST because you told me what to do

AND If you remember right, I sent a couple of PM's asking, you answered on my thread off your own accord, I didnt force you
