Hello mate. You need a wideband meter if it's to be any use. Innovate motorsports are about the best there is.

Or the VEMS unit that I can supply. You can have EGT with it too.

See the thread in the Traders section......

The pics further down the page are nicer and a better representation of what it looks like than the top ones......

I use Innovate too. Had no problems with it, got it from GGR. However I could now use the EGT function like in the VEMS unit!

Nice dash Rick

the black box is a performance meter used for timing 1/4 miles, etc. It gives an instant g force reading which i use for mapping, and connect to my laptop.

The luminition one is no good - it is narrow band - it just looks pretty and doesn't tell you much about your engine. You're looking about 250 for the one i have, but it is very accurate.

sas

The XD-16 is not just an AFR gauge, it reads a serial data stream. You can have it displaying/logging EGT. You can have it displaying AFR but if the EGT goes above a certin value, it will display that.

I am going to get another gauge just to display EGT. Infact, in EGT mode, it can display reading from 4 channels - any one of then, the average of all, and automatically switch to the highest. Which is what i'm going to
