Default fuze box, how to remove?

hello peeps

im trying to take the fuse box out of my s2, i can see the screwa under the dash but as far as i can tell they need to be unscrewed from the engine bay?

can anyone give me a guide?

Yes mate,from inside the engine bay look at the fuse box.The sides of the fuse box need to be pulled apart slightly so that the part all the fuses are pushed into can be lifted up and out of the fuse box.With this out of the way you will then be able to look into the fuse box and see 3 screws.These have rubber washers between the base of the box and the cars metalwork to stop water getting into the car around the screws,dont lose them if you can held it!!Regards,Micky

The fuse box can only be removed with the entire loom though, just incase you didn't know.......

just figured that out, only needs the surface rust grinding and a lick of paint....

now i really cant be bothered, seems like far too much hassle

i think im going to have to rip th loom out to do the welding, unless there is another way....its only surface rust

Not the most fun job in the world, but id rather remove a loom than say change a clutch pedal quadrant
