Hello mates

My problem is when I boost (at about 0.4 bar) I hve loud noise and vibrations form engine bay. ant then car dont goes like so good. I know it is hard to diagnose, but maybe some ideas?

My sparks are good collour, dark orange.

p.s., how will I recognize sounds of knocking? i have knock sensor, maybe he start work and "choke" engine because there are detonations?? any idea is welcome!

Firstly, have u got any way of checking if its overboosting? (boosting more than you have it set to do so?)

my boost gauge shows 0.5 bar. I set it with wastegate arm.

You'll hear the knocking noise from the engine if it is, it's like knocking on a door

Can you feel the vibration through your feet ? Or through the steering wheel ?

Could be a mount lose ? Does it do it at all off boost at the same speed? I.E accellerate to 70 hard, then slowly ?

seems the only thing that works on his car is him all day everyday

anyway back on topic,dragsteer stop fuckin around with stuff yourself as it seems to be makin things worse on your car,if you dont know what it is dont fiddle with it,let someone who knows what there doin do that job,messin around with boost levels,fuelling,timing etc is just gonna lead to engine failure one way or another

everything is now ok. exept my gearbox

but this sound anoying me. I thought maybe some of you have some ideas, but you advice me to go to garage. but here isnt garage in my city, and most of mechanics never hear about rs turbo.

and yes, I have little bad engine mounts, but I dont thing that mounts making this noise. maybe they making vibrations but noise dont. and this noise is with me in all gears, all speeds, I only must press hard throttle, and car then pull well, and then when turbo get 0.5 bar , this sound going out

Could possibly be a wheel bearing / hub nut ?

I dont think so. noise depends on boost. on 0.5 start vibrations, and noise , like that exhaist has hole. but he doesnt.
