Default flamer kit

iv fitted a flamer kit 2 my s2 rst, the kit its self is working coz i can hear it and c the plug working but can't get it 2 flame! any idears

These take a little while to warm up. To be honest you'll be unlikely to get it to do it at standstill. Get a mate to follow you up the road and give it a boot full and back off.

I remember some Black Series 2 at a cruise in Brighton years ago that was flaming like a bastid sat on the spot!

My mates s2 used to flame like crazy on the spot. He had to stop doing it because the one time the exhaust started glowing red, and baffles were coming out alight Tool

I've often wondered what sort of damage a flamer kit can do.

Apart from scorchin your back bumper absolutely none whatsoever. There are some more dodgy kits that inject propane/butane into the system but I don't think many people are daft enough to fit those.

I own 1 of them but havnt fitted it yet. Flamer kits were supposed to be wired up so when you flicked the switch it stalled the engine and passed unburnt fuel through the exhaust thus giving you a flame but now everyon installs them so they dont stall.

Is there a flamer kits you can by or can you make them up yourself i.e coil ignition lead fuse and a spark plug.no okay

you can make the kit i made about 4 LOL easy but the only thing sucks you have to by the coil igniting unit bout 10 15 quid off ebay

easy to build, and somewhere i have the coil electronic circuit diagram as well, so you can build the whole kit, The electronic unit would cost about £3 to build,
then you just need the coil, lead, plug and switch.
