They have a reservoirs per master cylinder. And pedal boxes usually have 2 different sized cylinders to help balance the braking front to rear

i see, so from the brake pedal theres a balance bar going to 2 cylinders & 1 brake line coming from each master cylinder then a 't' peice to each side? is that right yeah

1 cylinder for front brakes, 1 cylinder for rear brakes.

Diffrent sizes to compensate and help out the brake bias (rear brakes need less pressure)

Ignore the 'bolt' through the bias adjuster this was a work in progress shot about 5 years ago But it shows you the frame work we made for mine.

How it looks with the bottles

We made one the other week for a RWD Mk4 - I guess that could be converted over to FWD applications - if enough interest Everytime we ask we only ever get about 2 - 3 people interested.

We make all sorts

The direct fit Subaru one...

The Sierra one...
