i dont think they were completely as stated.

As £180 for a st/st- titaniam material, as it will cost that in material if more.
and 1.5mm wall, sounds toooo thin to me.

There isn't really anything to report at this stage, but as soon as there is, you'll know about it.

Now I just need the person concerned to start talking to me.

I just bought the stainless pipes and bends for my manifold (2.5mm walls) and it was a total of 60e, so under 40£ without the cylinder head flange. The material cost seems to be quite close to 11e/kg whatever you buy of stainless.

But the bloke said its a titanum, not the usual 304 or 316 st/st.

I said sort of, as i've never made a tubular manifold from scratch, but have modified/repaired ones before.
But as i do quite abit of tig'n and exhaust making on my own cars and others i roughly know the time/effort that needed.

The group buy manifold was not meant to be titanium. The company only was claimed to have some experience in working with it.

Why on earth would an American company want to mass produce a tubular manifold for a 15-20 year old car that they never even had over there (except the 1.9 of course)??
