if your trying to stick a cvh head on a rs2000 i4 bottom end dont bother lol, to start with its chain drivin,

now if your trying to turbo a rs2000 lump and fit that then thats much beeter, standard pistons (and the rest of the bottom end are pretty strong actually, but very heavy ) so it is possible to have the pistons machined down to lower the compression ratio, then you need to sort a exhaust manifold, there is a company that make turbo manifolds for the i4, or you could use a nissan 200sx (along with its t28 turbo and screamer pipe set up ) with minor mods,

then i spose you should get a high flow oil pump as the turbo will rob some of the pressure, oil ffed line, you could look to open the ports on the head up,

330 bhp at 13psiis obtainable on the standard cams

then im not sur ebut i think youd need to get an adaptor to fit it to the ib5 box, but it may go striaght on, im not sure, i think rs2000 run mtx75 boxes,

and youll nedside feed injectors from either askylin, 200sx or a z32 twin turbo,

hope this helps

why do you need a new bottom end? have you blown your engine?

Like has already been said, an RS2000 doesn't have a zetec, it has a I4 engine. Used to piss me right off when people used to try to tell me when I had one, that my engine was a zetec, second only to people asking if it was a GTi

I have heard good things about turbo'ing a rs2000 engine, well, using a 2.3 I4 bottom end out of a galaxy with low comp pistons, and an RS2000 head with a blower strapped on. But, for an RST it's probably too heavy, and too costly to fit it.

As said go for the ZVH or the full Zetec turbo Here's a good guide to DIY'ing a ZVH: http://www.quantums.info/zvh.htm
