Default frst q (i know but i figure more ppl look here)

i know its wrong section but no 1 really looks in frst and i guess some ppl may know but not look there

i have bother ofac and ofab full managements

ofac has a 15psi (superchip) and is fuly fited to my car (d reg erst runninf frst lump)

but ai also have full ofab witha live map chip (not sure where to get it prog'd tho)

would be nice to run more that 15psi but which system ie better??

dont wanna sell the ofab if its better to have that ofac

I heard OFAC was better, but couldn't tell u why myself.

OFAC is the later management. Uses a digital MAP sensor, limited to 2bar (-1 & +1). Using the earlier management, OFAB, you can use the cosworth 3 bar map sensor.

i built the car i aint payin sum1 else to change a loom and ecu and MAP

and i have spare engines and plenty of time

not that changin it to ofab is gonna blow it up neways

Yeah, OFAB will allow you to run more boost. With the correct chip/map and MAP sensor.

Only worth it if your going to actually run that boost though, rumour has it that OFAC runs the car slightly better, using the digital sensor, more mpg too !

Not too difficult to change over either,

ow now i dont know what to do again

i have a spare engine that will eventually be put in my mk1 xr2 (no holdin of breath tho) and my erst will go back to ke jet and the managment will go into the mk1

just wanted to free up some cash offeither managment setup and keep the best for myself

i think ill have to find out about the ofab chip to be sure (live map 1)

too much prob

ecu, loom, superchip, MAP
will make loads on ebay

chips alone go for Ł150 tops

ecus easily do 100

and the other bits are 50 each last time i looked

ofac map sensor is 2.5 bar
-1 bar vac
+1.5 bar pressure.
