Default Head Knocking?

Hi all, My cylnder head is knocking so i changed the camshaft and its still knocking , could this be the lifters as they dont look worn? on some of the lifters the lifters head can be squezed down, and some are solid.. are they supposed to be able to be moved by hand?

springs and rockers look ok.

could it also be worn cam bearings, or is this quite unusual.

was going to get some new lifters but ford charge about 18 a piece for these!

Might just get a kent cvh22k kit and change the lot.

any suggestions...thanks.

If you put a new cam in and did'nt change the lifters then thats probably why it's knocking your ment to change both because they ware together.
