ok just seen the article in fast ford what do you lot think about the black q plate nice car but not sure about the power seems a bit high to me sorry if he is a member not having a go just wondered if they got the figures wrong

I wasn't in a position to do the Performance Ford one this year and I wasn't asked to the FF one. I hope to be doing them next year. Depends how much the car changes and whether it will be worth entering it.
As it is now it is definitely leagues ahead of how it was when it did 161.2 in 2005 so who knows.

I'm pretty sure it'll do 167ish as it is. I probably would have done it that day if I did the runs on my own, wipers off, mirrors off etc. You know what I have planned, Rick. IF I go for it and I get more power then I may consider going up a gear size.

In all seriousness, I couldn't touch Mr C top speed wise. He has more power and more bottle than me to push it that far. I would be happy with just a few more mph under my belt.
