Nice to see the seller is genuine on "based on an xr3 shell" thing and not keeping it quiet.

Duz look a nice car but i dont think any one is going to pay that sort of money due to it being XR3I on the log book they never seem to make good money even tho the only difference is the car name on the log book

The info you have says its the RS Turbo variant yet the seller is openly confessing its a 3i shell

I almost bought it in 2004, but the guy sold it to Kev Ha (off here) instead when I was travelling down to buy it
He then sold it to someone who lives near me. He then put it on ebay and sold. It was since put back on ebay and has now ended up at this garage for sale. So that's 5 in the last two years.

I know the guy who bought it after Kev fitted a rebuilt engine as the h/gasket went and the lad also used to come on here.

He initially calls it and RS Turbo at the start of the Advert then later discloses it right at the bottom!

In effect it is: just like when people put listings on as an RS Turbo convertable. There's a lot of people out there who aren't bothered about the genuinity of a vehicle in that way.

It's really only people like us who love the Ford brand that would be more concerned if the RS we bought turned out to be a replica with the bits moved across...but I see what you mean. Just shows you have to read a WHOLE listing, not just the highlighted points to draw you in.
