Default gearboxes

im sort of carrying on from my previous post think ive came to the descision to top up the bank loan and sort this problem once in for all ha ha so im thinking new gearbox and clutch was looking at that gearboxman site he was advertising stage 1 boxes etc, the car is running around 200 bhp so what sort of box clutch etc would i need ? thanks in advance quite new to ford scene

forgot to say the linkage seems quite worn bit like stirring soup ha ha what can be done to sort that ?

I swear by Helix paddle clutches, they have been good to me.

As for the box, having a Quaiffe ATB Diff fitted & your box reconditioned would suffice.

stage 1 box would be fine = 500
Ap organic clutch =250
B&M Gear linkage short shift = 200
Skim Flywheel = 40

do all that and you will have a perfect transmission like mine

ok thanks for the help with that one with fitting the b&m short shift does that get rid of the play in the linkage ?
