difference between s1 & s2 standard exhausts

difference between s1 & s2 standard exhausts
can anyone help with the differences between the s1 & s2 standard exhausts.i know that the s2 exhaust had a set in the tailpipe,is that all?

hi m8 the only diff is the back box the s2 is bowed and the s1 is str8 out the bac box hope that makes sense

I've seen so many different original exhaust systems that I've lost track.

I was onering the same thing So would the s2 fit and look any different to the s1 and does this inc after market ones

they all fit but if ur wanting concours or oringinality then some ppl might notice

s1 & s2 exhaust
thanks for responses,have found out that s1 goes over the wishbone & s2 goes under,have looked at s1 workshop manual & s1 does go over,will get s2 manual back tommorrow to check but thinks s2 does go under wishbone.

have checked s2 workshop manual & s2 exhaust goes under & is 1 piece,s1 is 2 piece & goes over-but does anybody have one going spare!

shame i have a brand new s2 front pipe and mid section never been on car
