what compression ratio on a 2.0 zetec turbo

hi just been to my engine builder and he rekons on somthing around 9-1
im not sure if this is too high but they build reliable race engines and obviously he knows more than me.
we want to run a maximum of 2 bar boost and its got cams pistons rods all the arp bolts and stuff that goes with it autronic sm2 managment etc wot u guys rekon

The problem with running a higher CR is detanation, so aslong as you are running a proper ECU the mapper will be able to retard the ignition at med to high boost to prevent it.
I run 8.8:1 in my ZVH.
PS dont forget the extra loading on the head gasket at that CR and boost.
