Personally, if your going to tint i think you should only ever go light smoke all round.
It doesnt look that dark, but once all the windows are done it looks very cool, polus the fact most cars factory tints norrowly pass the light levels, light smoke all round is actually illegal, let alone anything darker but you will usually get away with it

Tints can look nice but you wouldn't drive about with shades on after dark, driving with tints after dark is no different. It also gives plod another excuse to give you hassle.
Best thing I did was ditch my tints.

the bloke that did mine is a pro and said i would get trouble from the po po but did say that unless the old bill has a vosn certificate they cant pull them out or fine you because no police officer has them!
They do you for driving a dangerous vehicle mate
i know people who have had it done the old bill went on a misson down here and done LOAD'S of people on it
it's the bike cop's and the traffic car's that have the stuff to do the testing. I would'nt want to take the chance mate it's not the fine that fuck's you it's the point's but then it's down to you
you might be lucky and never get pulled. Imo if they class it as dangerous then it should be brought into an M.O.T test as there are ALOT of people that dont know that there driving round with illegal tint's my mate had his car imported from japan and the first he new of it was when he got his 3 point's and fine
